Instructor: Maria Kolotos
Instructor Bio: Maria's mom taught her to sew and she has been sewing since she was 5 years old. Maria started out with making Barbie clothes by tracing existing dresses with the scraps. From there she progressed to making garments when she was 10. As the years went by, she made home decor items including curtains, pillows, table runners and other items. A few of Maria's favorite things to make are: Bags, all sorts of bags and accessories. There is such a variety and can be personalized. She always likes to switch things up bit. Art collages. She loves thinking about new things to do with fabric and these collages are such fun. And, most of all, she loves teaching others how to sew and how to create with fabric! It is so exciting when she sees others learning and creating.
