Pattern Your Own Clothes

What you will be doing: Ever wished you could recreate that perfect black dress or that top you bought years ago and regret not buying two? Now's your opportunity to learn how!

This workshop empowers you to transform those beloved garments into pattern blocks to use again and again!

What you'll learn:

  • Pattern making magic: Learn valuable pattern-making techniques as you transform an existing garment into a reusable sewing pattern.

  • Sewing success: Use your new pattern to recreate the garment with confidence.

  • Fabric finesse: Choose the perfect fabrics for your project.

  • Stitching & finishing: Learn professional techniques to elevate your creations.

Don't miss this chance to revive your favorite pieces and expand your wardrobe with personalized style!

What do you bring?:
  • The garment you want to replicate: Bring a dress, skirt, shorts, pants, or top that you'd like to copy.

  • Pattern making supplies: Pattern tracing paper, pencil, sewing/quilting ruler, paper scissors, and tape (scotch magic tape or any other frosted tape is best).

  • Fabric for your mock-up (practice version): This allows you to test your pattern and fit before cutting into your final fabric.

  • Your sewing machine & supplies: For classes 2-4, you'll need your machine, thread, scissors, pins, etc.
