Handi Quilter Long Arm Classes and Rentals
Long Arm Rental Class is required before rentals!

In the 3-hour Rental Class you will learn how to load up your backing, the batting + your quilt top, wind bobbins, the basics of using the Moxie 15 machine, and the guidelines of the Handcraft Happy Hour rental program. The first two hours will be instruction and the last hour will be left to ask questions, load a quilt and practice stitch.
The class fee includes long arm rental instruction and a long arm rental guide as well as a mentor for your first solo rental session.
Renters are required to have their own Rental Starter Kit which includes 2 bobbins, a bobbin case and needles. This kit can be purchased in the shop.

Once you have taken the Handi Quilter Long Arm Rental Class, you are ready to rent time on the long arm and turn your beautiful quilt top into a finished quilt! Our rental time is by appointment for $18 per hour with a 4-hour minimum on the days that we are open. You can email or call us for a reservation and we will block out the entire day for your reservation just in case you need more than 4 hours.
